Finally, after more than seven weeks, a deal has been reached for the release of some of the 240 hostages remaining in Hamas captivity. Babies, children, women, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities were among those ripped from their homes and families and taken hostage. Now that some hostages are being released, it is urgent that the International Committee of the Red Cross be granted access to the remaining hostages and provide urgent medical attention to those still being held captive. The United Nations and its member states must use every lever at their disposal to bring all hostages home now.
Join ADL in urging the International Committee of the Red Cross and the U.N. to take concrete steps to help the hostages in Gaza.
